Once in a while, providers adjust their bundles, partly on the basis of changing demand. The last time Vodafone adjusted the bundles was in March 2020. Now the provider has announced the new subscriptions, which are valid from today (February 1, 2021). The most important changes are the cancellation of multiple subscriptions and the adjustment of the prices.
Vodafone adjusts bundles for 2021
The new Vodafone bundles from 2021 now consist of five types: Start M, Start L, Red, Red Unlimited and Red Together. This means that Start XL and Red Essential will be discontinued. The Start bundles are the cheapest in the range and it will remain so. Both bundles will go up in price, but you will get more data for that. For example, for Start M with 1.5GB (was 1GB) you now pay € 13.50 (was € 12.50). In combination with Ziggo, the bundle is doubled and you get a € 2.50 discount. A 5G add-on of € 2 per month is available for the Start bundles.
We see the biggest changes in the various Red bundles. There are now three variants of this. The standard Red subscription will go down in price, from € 31 to € 27.50. That sounds good, but it means that you have to do it with less data (from 20GB to 12.5GB). That means that you get 7.5GB less data per month. Ziggo subscribers still get the familiar doubling. If you still need more data, then you end up with Red Toghether or Red Unlimited. The prices of these have been reduced (€ 3 at Red Unlimited and € 2.50 at Red Together).
The new bundles take effect immediately, but your current bundle may still remain unchanged. Users of a Start or Start XL bundle will be automatically converted to the new variant, provided it is closed after March 2019. Users of the former Red Super bundle will receive a new offer by e-mail to switch to Red Unlimited free of charge. .

Smart XL and Red Essential have been discontinued. The prices are valid for a term of 2 years. Prefer 1 year? Then you pay € 1 per month extra.
